I don't know why anyboyd would steal such low cost items (except for the rims...). But then again, i leave my mush-stang stock looking with crappy paint and nobody bothers it. Little do they realize that there is about ALOT of money tied up in the car.

The stuff that was stolen is probably totaled together as $10-$12,000.
Those seats were probably an easy 3,000 each. The knob is around $150, and those wheels. Whoa.....

lock lug nuts can be easily removed with lug nut tool used specifically for stripped lug nuts. No wheel is really safe.

That pisses me off, no respect for true craftmanship. I'm looking online for those parts and if I find the bastards, I am going to sell the crooks to the highest bidder ;)

I'm sure they did. Like someone said, I think this is an insider job. It msut've been from a disgruntled former employee. Wheel locks can be opened if you know which key to use.

My current job had a shooting (no one hurt fortunately. those guys were lousy shots). it is very likely these guys were helped by a former disgruntled employee cuz the place is a maze, and they knew where to go. Esp these low grunt jobs, a lot of incompetent former employees blame the employer for being unfair.

That was at the dealership I work at, my friend took those pictures. The car is still sitting on a lift in the shop. My shop foreman was actually putting one of the seats together on saturday. Ended up being $15,000 in repairs between the parts and labor. The car wasn't there a whole day and this happened, so somebody had to know someone at the dealer who knew it was coming.

gotta disagree. the mugen civic Si is the skipper on this ship, AHOY!

though it still isn't cool when people steal stuff. makes insurance rates go up. besides the whole morality of it all, if you're into that sort of thing. but seriously though, the mugen Si is made of fail.

I got to see the Mugen Civic SI yesterday at the Honda dealership. It was displayed in the show room where it should be. The car is sick - if I had $30,000.00 I would not mind it in my garage but I can't so it's the Fit getting Mugen parts added every so often - LOL!

There's one down at the local dealer in the showroom that I went and checked out this afternoon. It really is a sharp car. I like it alot, but it looks like a thief magnet to me lol. My old boss told me that when they got the car, Honda advised them to not leave it sit outside for fear of the same thing happening. That sucks big time. From what I was told, the wheels that are on the car are specific to that car only. Not sure how true that is, and I know it's an expensive Civic, but it is pretty sweet looking when you see it in person.

I was asked if I wanted to trade in the Fit.....the window sticker on the Mugen Si said 21 City and 29 Highway.....no thanks, I'll keep my Fit.
