Panducky's K24 ITB CRX
Some might not know of this build, others might. We will have a link to the entire build gallery available but this is what we have been working on. These pictures are only the last half of this build. The build first started with a 1990 crx dx w/ a roll cage, jdm front, usdm type r swap painted championship white.
I came to John (composimo) and said lets redo it all. The car was media blasted and taken down to bare metal. Then add oem honda quarter panels and fenders and every single seal, grommet, gasket, nut replaced and you got yourself a nice car. Well to jump into the update!
Got a whole bunch of wiring done, as well as installing the tail lights, rear triangle pieces, rear bumper structure (hanging it for now, still need to install bumper on it later), and a few other little doo-dads.
Enjoy! Follow it from the begining....

AWESOME!
I am about to start stripping my CRX Si. I just wish I had your budget and resources($$$$$$$$$$$$!). I am doing it myself with couple of friends with almost no money in an apartment complex single car garage!
I must stay with original engine with DC headers, JG cam, custom 2.5" exaust with hollowed cat, koni yellow's with Kg/mm springs, ST sway bars, Crane cams ignition computer and coil, Magnacor wires, Spoon/Mugen chipped ECU, Momo F1 steering wheel, 15x7 OZ Racing wheels..... You get the picture - poor mans racing car.
I will strip it as much as I can, remove all glass and sunroof and put plastic windows. I have two intake manifolds, so I will attempt to fuse them together and run two cylinders per one throttle body and ram air them through headlight openings or create hood scoop the width of the hood between headlights. I have 12 ton pipe bender, so I will be making my own roll cage that will extend into engine compartment for stiffness.
I have no experience in building a race car, so I am going by common sense and web research.
Goal is to have fun on the track and let my helping friends drive it too. If anything more evolves from it, great! I am concerned that home built roll cage won't be approved for the track even if I overbuild it. If I am not mistaken, front windshield has to remain glass for road racing, too.
Please feel free to educate me! Any tips and tricks you can share. I appreciate it very much!

Yea I wanted a little bling. As far as a track car it will definately run 11's if not maybe get into the 10's in the 1/4 and its definately got the suspension to run on the track. Still my pride and joy!

We have a differant setup for track and such but they arent street friendly but it has a set of tein super streets on it now and a ST rear sway, panducky traction bar and roll cage, function 7 lcas, energy suspension bushings and Im sure Im missing something.

Nice build...does anyone know if a k24 can fit within the fits? sorry....i just found the super street challenge fit...i saw some k24 engine mounts being sold for the fits on jhpusa, but has it ever been done, besides extreme dimensions in the super street challenge?

Yes Sir, we work on just about everything. The Model A is Composimo's restro project. As far as the K24 I don't see why not, again the motor isn't the issue its everything else from there.

i've never had the chance to drive the crx in any form. the pic in your post that shows the rear suspension is the reason that makes me think the CRX would be redicu-sick. i mean, indep. rear suspension and less than 2500 lbs?
