The civic EX now has leather
I saw a TV ad, and was shocked. Then i went to the honda website, and they really have a leather offering for 19,910$ for stick shift. It's only for the regular civic (coupe and sedan). CNG, hybrid, si do not have leather.

I wish the fit has leather :( A Honda Fit S-L would be nice.

EX-L
The top of the line Civic EX-L Coupe is the ultimate combination of luxury, performance and style. It comes with all the outstanding features of the EX, plus the addition of posh leather-trimmed seating surfaces and heated seats and side mirrors.

You guys want to see a nice Civic.... unfortonatly this is Canada only!
Acura CSX - AKA Rebadged Civic with tons of goodies
Acura
Tightly bolstered leather seating provides a sporty look and feel inside the CSX cabin, while silver and aluminum accent trim and ambient blue cabin lighting create a modern air of cool sophistication. Both front seats are ergonomically sculpted and heated for extra comfort, and the driver's seat is height adjustable for maximum comfort and positioning.

there is no way
that the fit will have leather appointments outside of its steering wheel anytime soon, if the civic has moved up, the fit has to hold it down so to speak.
The acura csx is really nice, if a bit overpriced for the performance.
i always thought that honda should release a civic 'se' or something like that with the k20 from the old ep3 and now the csx, to bridge the gap between the si and the ex.

Wish Cavat: Canada Only :p
Location: Acura
Funny thing about the pricing is that Canada in general is getting screwed over for car prices. Go to the Honda.ca website and price out an S2000, then go to the US Honda website and price out an S2000. Like a 15,000$ difference  There is a MASSIVE class action lawsuit against the car companies here at the moment, within the next 6 months I would expect to see 30% get knocked off the top of most vehicals (including the CSX) to bring the pricing closer to the US market.

oh the csx type s is very nice! i'd love to import one of those over here! I know that canda's prices are out of control, but isn't it kinda hard to compare, as their currency is different then ours? i mean a type r in japan is only the equivalent of 25k here, hence the weakness of the yen i guess.

The main reason fueling the price problem is that our currency for the longest time was about 0.75ish cents on the USD. But in the past two years or so it has been gaining (for whatever reason) and now it is actually worth about 1.02 against the USD.
The car companies have decided just not to change the price and collect on the exchange rate. Not only that lots of them try to discourage importing vehicals both by punishing US dealers that sell to Canadians and refusing to honour warrenties.
I have been eyeing a Porsche Cayenne myself, but the price in Canada is 55,000$ for the base model... it is only 43,000$ in the US  So... considering our CAD dollar is currently worth more by just a touch, this is total bull sh!t.
