Future Honda Del Sol/CRX?

I think the fine line is drawn when it comes to safety, they'll never bring remakes of the del sol and classic civics, i.e. crx, ef, eg becasue they don't meet the safety guidelines of today's vehicles.. you can thank all those people who don't like to "FIT" and buy huge ass SUV's to haul themselves to work and about :( *thumbs down*

The S2000 was a replacement for the Crx/del Sol. Now I don't mean chasis or power wise but if Honda had not made the S2000 then it would have lost its 2 seater car platform that it had with the CRX/del sol from 1988-1997.

As for the CVT. Not all CVT that Honda makes have virtual gearing and no not all of them are desiel.

Honda has already brought the CVT to the USDM market. My 07 civic hybrid has a cvt non virtual gearing tranny. I wish we had that option in the US for the FIT.

yeah i got a CVT on my Fit without paddleshifters, all it has is the P,R,N,D,S,L.

And these make even less sense....

My friend has a 91 CRX. Im very mad because he says that the Fit is a BIG disappointment to the Honda name. GRRRRRRR
