1988 CRX Si Performance?
#22
David, was this the yellow one? That was a nice car from the pictures you had.
I remember when the last generation of CRX came out, I was in college, neat cars. They were common in Showroom racing then too.
Here in Nashville you almost never see one that has not been "improved" (generally involving primer somewhere on the car) anymore, and a lot of Civics are seeing this treatment also. Not sure if the rest of the US is like this or not?

My son-in-law is still grinning!! It is absolutely stock. He said that a friend of his was talking to him about putting a different engine in it. I told him that if he ever thought seriously about it, it might disappear on him overnight!!! In other words, he has been severely THREATENED!!!
FWIW - here's my other CRX that my middle daughter now has:
This is a special one - see if the license plate looks familiar - LOL!!!
'89 CRX DX, white, ~260K miles
'90 CRX Si, yellow, ~66K miles

Ah, an old KY plate there, the new ones are pretty bland. What happened to the Teletubby-land plate?

I have (had?) custom plates on my CRX's when these plates were in existence (I still have the old plates at home...)
White one: GO CAR
Yellow one: GO CAR2
GO CAR has been "reassigned" to my Fit :)
GO CAR2 is being replaced today when daughter/son-in-law actually do the title transfer.

I had a 90 CRX Si with very minor mods, intake, stut bar and short shifter, otherwise bone stock. *It was written off because of 2 consecutive accidents and is greatly missed. *The Fit is a great replacement vehicle for the CRX but if I had a choice, I would have kept the CRX. *
