Very nice shots! So you have both a 50mm f/1.4 Nikkor and 50mm f/1.4 Rokkor lens? Was something wrong with the Rokkor?

Sorry guys, all I have now is my P&S Canon. I need to buy another DSLR. So here is some point and shoots that I tried to fancy up a little. Also they are of my Forester before the front end conversion. I haven't been able to get a good shoot with my Fit yet.

wow! thanks. i've really gotten into using legacy manual focus lenses in the past few months so i've been going back to basics and shooting a lot more.

yes, i have both. what can i say, i'm hooked. i'll eventually thin out my collection so i'm kinda giving each of them a trial so to speak. both the nikkor and the rokkor were recent acquisitions so i'm using some time to see what they're capable of. i haven't had too much time on the rokkor, yet. i had it on my camera just the first day i got it. different lenses are on my camera from a few hours to a few weeks at a time.

the best thing is that they're so beautifully made and a lot cheaper than a modern AF lens so it's not too much of a burden on the bank account.

SoCal. It'd been foggy the last few days, so I had to do this. I had a lot of ideas that night, but my girlfriend wouldn't let me wander around all night. Lame!

damn...doc. you make me miss the texture of film.

the diffused lighting for that foggy tree shot is just spot on.
