Motegi's for Rota's?

I had a general question. I am trying to sell my heavy 17" Motegi FF7's with some curbing. They have some tread left on Triangle Talon tires. They are a cheaper Chinese performance tire.

Anyway, I am asking $350 obo.

On a local forum I was offered a trade for some 15" polished Rota Slips with some beat to hell Toyo Proxes that would need to be replaced very soon. He also wanted $100 on top of the trade.

I like those wheels, but I don't know if it is worth that much. Any opinions?

That's what I was thinking. His wheels are a hell of a lot cleaner than mine, but the tires are shot.

At most I would give him $50 on top.

Those are really the only Slips that I like. They're the ones you never see anybody with.

Edit: Are those blades in your signature?

Yeah, straight trade or bust. Slipstreams are pretty desirable as far as Rota wheels go, but if those tires are just as shot as I think they are, I wouldn't go for it.

Usually I see rota slips with 50% tires for roughly $400.

Straight trade or no deal IMO.

I ended up selling them straight up on Craigslist. I'm going to be rolling on my stock wheels for a long time it seems. Bills and the such.
