1. everything... my job is in a proshop as a manager
2. Tiger Woods... He IS golf. he's by far the best of all time
3. 25-45. its a lot harder than it looks and it requires dedication
4. Definately... I don't know how I can say this without it sounding *** but look at the guys on tour, they're ripped. if you're not very strong you won't play as well and you'll hit the ball shorter.
5. 50ish most people that retire take up golf but there is also a ton of juniors taking up the game... so right in the middle.
6. As previously stated, I work at a golf course, I play often and am a single digit handicap.

40+, people that have been successful in life and are looking to play a sport that's not too physically demanding but still fun.

Not necessarily strong, but not horrendously out of shape to where they can't walk the holes.

Probably about 45, but a huge variety of ages play

They aren't supposed to be super specific either. The questions are made for both people who play golf and those who don't. I can't ask something that nobody would know. I know they are vague, but this works for what I am doing.

 

1) my friend intoduced me to a golf club and gave me a swing, i sucked, dropped golf after that

2) i think its a sissy sport, not much you can do with it. heh no offense people

3) more to older people, since they are the kind of people that take their times n have time

4) hmm, for carrying the bag of clubs, but you can have someone decently strong to carry that.

5) my guess, 29

6) took a couple swings to see if i had a good starting point of the sport, didnt, so i dropped it n gave up heh guess it takes skills

it's a game of concentration and knowing your own strength.

even tempered people, who's idea of relaxing is going out to play a round in the warm sun.

depends on the region. but in general, i'd say early 50's.

4. Do you think golfers need to be physically strong? Why or why not?
golfers do not need to be physically strong. it is a bonus, obviously, but it is more mental than anything.

5. What do you think is that average age of all golfers?
i would say 35.

6. Have you had any experiences with golf? Explain.
i used to play golf once a week with my dad. once i got to high school and started playing sports all the time, it became once a year, or less.

Regardless of Tiger, I still think Golf is tailored to the older crowd

No, the do not have to be physically strong at all. It's not so much about the size of the bicepts, but how fluid and accurate you can swing a club.

Now a days, I would say the average age has dropped to the mid 30's. And that would be the majority of players.

Yes, I have been playing golf off and on since I was 13. Now 34 years old, I am trying to see how my kids like it.
