Exclamation Forest Fire in Myrtle Beach, SC

Hi FitFreak friends,
As of this morning, Friday 4/24/09, Horry County and the cities of North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach, SC have been battling a horrific fire that has destroyed almost 20,000 acres of land, many homes, and left several families homeless. With the assistance of other surrounding city fire departments and even the SC National Guard, the fire is now 40% contained. Please keep the workers and their families, along with the victims of this disaster in your prayers.

Yeah I'm following this as well. My friend has a condo in N. Myrtle. He's down there this weekend keeping an eye on things.

I'm in the Little River/N. Myrtle Beach area, and they seem to be making strides in getting it under control.
