anybody know any good roof racks for the 09 fit that wont scratch the roof and/or distort the weather stripping around the door excessively?

How do you like the Brooks saddle? I know they're not fashionably light, and sticking one on my Carbon roadbike would be heresy, but if they have that all day comfort, I might do it anyways.

omg brooks saddles are amazing. i dont want to ride on anything else. i had a san marco rolls, it hurt my ass, i had a KHS concor looking saddle, it hurt my ass. i had something else on this bike, it hurt my ass. i LOVE my brooks saddle soo much. the springs are a bit much, on this saddle. but omg the comfort. ive done a century on my track bike and absolutely no discomfort.. my legs on the other hand LOL.

dude, you should join tarckbike.com!

but be warned, newbies must eat the jar of dicks

I used to frequent roadbikereview.com, but I've kinda fallen off the bandwagon of looking at all the new stuff coming out. I have a pretty nice bike, but the modding bug always bites hard. I've tried riding fixed one time at a Fit meet, but the bike was kinda small for me. I'm actually going to go to a triple. I want more gear ratio spread and fewer holes in the ratios than I get with my compact double. I might keep an eye out for a brooks saddle for sale. I've heard break in on those is kinda bad. Any suggestions on making it a painless (or mostly painless) process?

the breakin is a myth. ride it out of the box. dont tension it ever.

the brooks saddle is a hit or miss saddle, for sure. most love them, some dont. if you get a chance, try one out before you spend money on it.

Saw this on MTBR.com the other day posted by misuge. Pretty cool!

"three bikes, three riders and all gear for weekend riding packed in Honda Jazz... Tetris skills come handy "
