Pretty touchy subject..

quick question, if you're friend has never had a girlfriend and you've wondered why...then all of a sudden they told u they were ***, would you be shocked, understanding, or pissed off.

Instead of all of a sudden, would you have preferred they told you in installments, so you could get used to it a little bit at a time? And why the **** would you be pissed that your friend is ***? And mods, seriously, the word G A Y should not be censored. It's like censoring "jew".

They are still the same person. The same person you have been friends with.

ive had experience with this and as long as they know you arent ghey at all, they respect your boundaries and keep their feelings to themselves, it should be fine.

yea like everyone else says, nothing has changed except for the fact that you know a little more information about him. as long as he doesn't have feelings for you cuz your not like that then everything is cool. just let him know what side your on (i don't mean to say that to offend anyone btw)

i have a lot of guys and girl friends who swing that way. to be honest, they are probably the coolest/nicest people ive ever met.

fyi..i love girls girl girls girls. girls i do adore

it shouldn't be a big deal if they were *** or not. some people aren't grown up enough to deal with but it is there loss. we have a few "domestic partners" as neighbors and they are great.

Nah, no big deal. Just as long as your friend respects your sexual orientation, i.e. if you're not g.a.y. yourself, he should respect that and not hit on you.

beating dead horse now, but I'd be understanding. Sexual preference matters not at all if your friendship has been doing just fine

congrats dude! People swear up and down that I'm *** because of the way I act. I think I do it on purpose for some weird reason. So what made you decide to come out?

Haha, I totally had the wrong idea.

Yeah, some people just won't be able to be sensible about how they react. Also, certain people seem to really trip on bisexuality even if they're totally okay with homosexuality. Weird. Good luck!

Isn't that implied though? I dunno, even if a longtime buddy came out and wanted me, I'd still be his friend. Just wouldn't go beyond the occasional hetero hug

I find it so amusing that people always pull out this "as long as they know their place and don't look at me wrong" shit.

It's just a simple tough guy act so we can see which ones here are insecure.
