MULTIPLE PEALS of thunder....
MULTIPLE CIRCULAR masses...
T-storms are so severe that the water is gushing, SHOOTING, throught the pores of our block basement walls.
If I plugged-up the drain, we'd have a swimming pool in no time flat!
This pic was taken in twilight mode, so its light enough to see the rushing water...
We are under the circular mass by Harrison City...

A cellar to you northern foreigners.
In some areas here, though, the water level is so high that the houses are built on simple slabs.
These slab-homes would be the ones near to rivers....(edit)...like the one in my BASEMENT.

Dylan escaped my comprehension, a bit.
The only thing under my house is solid granite, and an encroaching water table is not an issue!
I did have a friend in the fourth grade with a "bomb shelter" (duck, tuck, and roll) under the house.
