Bless you!

INCHES of rain...

MULTIPLE PEALS of thunder....

MULTIPLE CIRCULAR masses...

T-storms are so severe that the water is gushing, SHOOTING, throught the pores of our block basement walls.

If I plugged-up the drain, we'd have a swimming pool in no time flat!

This pic was taken in twilight mode, so its light enough to see the rushing water...

We were pretty excited here to get a drizzle today.
It did dip into the forties the last few nights, which was nice.

What's a "basement"?

A cellar to you northern foreigners.

In some areas here, though, the water level is so high that the houses are built on simple slabs.

These slab-homes would be the ones near to rivers....(edit)...like the one in my BASEMENT.

Hard rain is a gonna fall.

Dylan escaped my comprehension, a bit.

The only thing under my house is solid granite, and an encroaching water table is not an issue!

I did have a friend in the fourth grade with a "bomb shelter" (duck, tuck, and roll ) under the house.

Wait... what is this thread about?

O'tay, you got it, but you don't really want what we had!

KDKA TV2 has been on the air, COMMERCIAL FREE, since 7pm covering the flooding and tornado sightings...
