Who got Fired!?

Participate in the poll!

Just wanted to see how we are doing as a community, I think Honda owners are a notch above other owners for intelligence to begin with so maybe statistically we are also doing better than the average (Ford or Chevy driving) Joe.

I'm not unreplaceable by any means, but I do have a skilled trade and am employed at a nuclear power plant, and people will always need electricity, so I'm good.

To say "unreplaceable" might be a bit of an overstatement. But my skills and specialized training make me very valuable to my employers.

Believe it or not I have heard the word used to describe the job I do. However, I don't 'own' the cube I work in, if you get the point.

I have to say that I am hanging. The doctor that I left a really great job for has decided to retire at the end of the month. We are all employed by the hospital but I just don't know what they are planning to offer to us. I have been getting some inquires from other physicians and one of the Plastic Surgeons (I've worked in that field for 26 years) is trying to work out my salary and insurance to see if he can pay what I need to support my family. I am not worried - just trusting that where one door closes a window will open - God always makes a way where there doesn't seem to be one and worrying doesn't help anyone.

we have gotten more work now that all the other 9 metal shops have shut down around us. can you say monopoly? plus having exotic alloy certifications might help too.
