also Dan....buy the body with battery, chager, and etc. only and invest in nice lens!!! rather then getting the stock lens!!!!

I'd say go for it, the shots you can get with rigs are pretty impressive. What do you have to lose? Except maybe a rebel xt lol.

Yea I'm going to do it....just need to see what parts I need and how much it going to cost...don't wanted to cost an leg and arm! LoL

this is what i bought....tonight

of course i didn't pay that. i bought from dell because i got the extended warranty with it. atleast i am sure it is not grey market and i know who i got it from

Thanks. It is a Speed Graphic 4X5" press camera, from the 1940s. It still works! I may have a newer Canon laying around somewhere, too.

Nice...nothing better then some old school camera still around and working...b/c I'm currently trying to restore a rangerfinder i find at swap meet...it was manfac. in 1934.

oh this sucks donkey balls!

i see in my order status "shipped" sweet right? eh wrong. Checked the tracking number...not recognized. then i get home to find an email from dell "delayed shipment". now it may not ship until the 10th!~ RAWR! i hope it's wrong damnit

I'm not so surprise w/ the delay shipment on non-computer parts from dell.....my company we order millions of dollar in computer from and they will are on time, but when we order a 42" LCD for boss office they since the shipment will delay and we give call to our personal sale rep. and got 32" LCD for free!!!

But yea that a bummer Let just hope it come before the big day!

I'd say call up Dell and have them cancel your order. You can get the D60 kit from B&H for $649, with a $50 instant rebate and free shipping. Add to that they're pretty much one of the most reputable online dealers for camera equipment and you can't really go wrong.
