funny how things work. tonight i came home and my wife was reading the latest Costco mzine and asked "I wonder how good of pictures these take?" i looked and it was the Cannon XSi, then i showed her the forums you all mentioned. SOLD, getting my d60

Yeah! but mostly they disapprove... anyways I got my DSLR Xsi couple months ago and last weekend I was in santa barbara had the chance to use it and I even took pics of a fit that I spotted on the pier hahaha but still learning though it's my first dslr damn it's so nice....

I love that shot of the mountains!
I've been starting a little b&w myself as of late. I'll usually run all my images through grayscale when doing PP to see which I prefer. Here's one of my favs:

okay party people. help me understand.....please. Now that i got the "go ahead" on the d60, and have been searching the internet, i have found a few websites where people left comments saying their camera recieved was a grey market. what does that mean? I am just trying to stay cautious as this is a big investment and don't want to get ripped, if that's what it is.

Grey market mean you will not have the US warranty cover on the DSLR....and usually the price is little cheaper....also when buying the DSLR make sure you read the detail, b/c sometime the price dose not include the battery or charger...only the body!!!!
