Hah, I can't believe I have never posted a picture on FitFreak. When I get around to making one either today or tomorrow, I'll post them up.

My dog at the park last week.

I'm up at Humboldt for a few days, I'll hopefully have some good stuff to post when I get back.

Opinions needed, or...sell me yours.

I've been receiving numerous requests for portraits now.

So, I need an external flash, and possibly some home studio equipment (umbrella, etc).

What are you guys using? And what do you recommend?

Hey, Charlie! Congrats on the DSLR. I have used Tinypic.com for some web pictures, without too much trouble. Lets see those pictures!

Happy New Year, all. The full moon Thursday night is supposed to be especially bright. Maybe I'll drag out a tripod...

A reasonable question.

I'll try this for an excuse;

My "main" PC has Fitfreak.net as one of the home page tabs, so when I use that PC, I check in regularly. That PC is in the bedroom.

I hate paying the utility companies more than is absolutely necessary, so in the winter I keep the house cooler and go into the bedroom only to sleep (under a pre-heated electric blanket).

The living room has a fireplace, and a 37" LCD connected to a PC running Windows 2000 (no tabs on IE 6). My single home page is set to NOAA Weather (mostly says "Sunny and Warm").

At this point, I am experiencing concerns of doubt in the validity of my excuse.

Anyway, I have installed Firefox on this PC, so I once again have tabs, and ready access to Fitfreak!

I did this set with a 3 light floor lamp, using 2 lights on it. Very white lights you get from Home Depot. One shot up against the ceiling and the other pointed towards the wall on the left. I used a White sheet on the bed, my walls are white and has texture, but its not visible in pics. This was a cheap photoshoot, no flash, just my Nikon d40x and a 35mm lens.
