Sharing lenses is always a bad idea unless you're roommates or something. I can see it turning into an arguement if something ever happens to one that requires repair. On that note I'd say go with the D90, or if it's a little out of your budget try and find a new or used D80. Both cameras still have the preselected modes so if you ever get in a pinch you can use one of those until you've figured the camera out, but they also have a lot more controls than the basic cameras so when you do get better you don't start finding yourself limited by the entry level bodies.

hmm cool. So the D80-D90 is like the middle of Nikon's line up right? If so putting myself in the middle isn't a bad idea so i have enough room to go up. I think thats why my other friend said the D80. AHH!!! I'll figure it out.

The Casio FX-F1 allow you to pre-record the image like a video camera with 60 FPS then capture the image you want like a camera....
It was interesting camera to play with.....

For All Canon Only....as of March 3,2009 Canon will charge you $30 for Senors cleanning service....so it not free any more.... I just pick my xt and 30d today from cleanning and they put a sticker on there to notice about it.....dam the economy....
