Just in case anyone's curious, Nikon just leaked their new flagship model out in Europe a few days early of the 12/1 release date. The D3x is 24.5mp and is rumored to be priced around $5k in the US, but we'll know for sure in a few days. Here's the initial details: D3x specs and details available | Nikon Rumors

Nice Man!!! I have use it before when I was on the quest of finding me 70-200 F/2.8....It great lens for the price! Build like tank like my Sigma one! and yes It lil slow on AF but who really shoot in AF anyways! hahahaha

And I don't think any of us are going w/ a D3X anytime soon -- they just released the US price, $7999.00. Yow! That's $1500 more than my whole D3 setup, and that's just the body . . . .

Yeah I think it's a real small niche of a market. Good for super sized prints, I think the RAW files are something around 80mb a piece at 24mp if I read correctly. High ISO performance isn't as good as the D3/D700 either.
