How to get rid of the ads

Anyone else but me sick of the ads that pop up all over the page and slow down your load time here on fitfreak and everywhere else?

heres how to take care of that.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

STEP 1.) if you already don't use it (shame on you) download and install Firefox. Firefox web browser | Faster, more secure, & customizable

STEP 2.) Install the Adblock plus Add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

STEP 3.) Install the Adblock Filterset.G Updater https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1136

STEP 4.) Restart Firefox and browse faster and virtually ad free on any site.

Doesn't bug me none. Only time it slows me down is when there is a new ad that hasn't popped up before.

It works on more than just fitfreak. I've had to wait about a minute or so for a page to load because it was waiting for an ad to load and the server for that ad was down, and for some reason the rest of the page wouldn't load.
