Stealing a car in broad daylight: Typical Memphis

So I went to my front door this morning at 10:30 to get my mail. I look out the door and notice 4 male blacks loading my neighbor's blue Mazda onto a trailer. I call my neighbor who was at work, Miguel, and ask him if he sold his car, or if it might be getting repossessed. He says "Hell no".

So I call the police and give full descriptions. I then snapped pics until the first officer showed up, which was about 2 minutes later. Less than a minute later, there were 14 cars, and at least 1 Lt. on scene. They took the four into custody.

In the red Chevy, the dude in orange had his 2 year old son, unrestrained, riding with him. The suspects were also driving the gold Lumina.

The one in orange also has a federal felony warrant from the ATF. Another had a federal felony warrant and a couple local felony warrants.

Here are the pics.

I have no idea what the driver is writing for.

The second squad car is pulling up right now, to the right.

Thats weird... Pretty crazy too.
It happens here all the time with Hondas. They get stolen without trailers though.

People walk up, break in, do their work and drive off. Mid day, open parking lots, it doesnt matter.

Hmmm let me get my flame suit on before I comment on this. As I know people may think I am too harsh or nuts. Bear in mind this is MY pov, not yours.

*puts on flame suit*

Two words. Death penalty. Sorry folks but if you are stupid enough to do this shit, you don't deserve to take up space on this planet, let alone breed. Crime is crime, stupidity is stupidity. All these guys are gonna do is time in jail with 3 square meals (paid for by our tax money), once they get out, they do the same shit over and over and over and over again. Im sick of paying into a system that "takes care" of these guys. Just get rid of em.

I'm not worried about these guys. If they want to come knocking, here's what will be at the door waiting.

Good on you for lookin out Sid! I need you and a neighbor!! Bet that guy in the cab was writing to make it look like they were doing a repo or maintenance tow so it would look less suspicious.
