That's pretty cheap for a JDM conversion with all the parts...

hahaha i dont want to say how much ive spent on my car but lets say that i spent more on my car in the past year than i paid for the car.

i bet you that was at least 10k worth of parts.

i mean jdm front is like what 2-3 grand
turbo 3.5k-4k
strada-1k
seats 1.5k
brackets-400
and theres more that i dont know about. heh

oh yeah brakes 1k
a&j, opak, speedware, and garage inc all hooked it up. i think if you spend enough money at any shop, they will start giving you support prices.
but i cant thank those shops enough for everything they have done for me

I was about to say... that looks like the cars worth in parts. It's quite a commitment to spend that amount on the fit, good luck with the install and I look forward to seeing the results.

yea dude, there are alot of good shops in so cal, also alot of bad ones. i think the key to starting a good relationship with a shop is 1. have money to spend and 2. not be a pain in the a$$ to deal with.

Once I saw the bumper shaped box it couldnt be anything but a JDM front end. All that other ish is just ludicrous dude. Ludicrous Ludicrous!

Your Fit is going to be worth more than N1 Concepts K20's one.
Whats the deal with the JDM L15? Why waste the money?

hahah the N1 k20 fit can be described in one word, over! overpriced, overrated, overexposed, overbuilt. i could go on forever!

as for the jdm L15. i have money down on it to be shipped here, but no obligation to buy it. ive actually been toying with the idea of putting a 2009 fit engine in my car (not sure of the engine code, anyone know?). but that would be street legal. i dunno. i have time to think about it.

I dont think you should use the JDM L15. Its not different, besides wire driven.
Woooooo....

The 09 engine only difference is the head isnt it? Just do the head swap.
Hell, leave the motor alone or just build it for boost.

the difference between the jdm and the usdm L15 is the throttle bodies, the intake manifold, the ecu mapping, and the transmission is geared differently.
getting rid of the DBW would be nice, but it seems like more of a pain than its worth. i would run a sheet metal intake manifold so x that out. but like i said, i have a good three months until i have to make a concrete decision on the engine.

Either way all that stuff will be swapped out when you add the turbo. Everything but the throttle body and transmission.

If anything, get the transmission only. Whats the difference on the gearing? Final drive different, shorter gears?

Since youre going turbo Id want longer gears.
