the NEW CTS-V...
i was reading the new Car and Driver mag today... and what caught my attention was whats on the cover. The new CTS-V ( supercharged) is making 550 HP to go against the BMW M5... i love what caddillac is doing but i think to make the car compete with the M5... they forgot that the new RS6 will be making same amount power

Haha. I was reading the same mag earlier. That caddy is sick but im still M5 all day. I love the way they look and the presence that they have. They caddy has come a long long way but its still no M5 imo. I havent really done any reading on the RS6 so i cant say much about that one.

Damn the RS6 sounds like a killer combination. The caddy will be in trouble again then cause its just a push rod supercharged 6.2L. Atleast its an aluminum block but its still old school chevy technology. Its gonna be terrible on gas and its still prob gonna weigh a ton just like they always have been. Its better then it used to be but it is still a fricken caddy. I dont know what chevy is doing thinking they can take grandmas car and turn it into some guys midlife crisis car. Haha. Thats what the corvette is for

Ok let me start off by saying im racist against American cars, i hate them soo much, for sooo many reasons.
BUT the new Caddilc CTS is a BEUTIFUL sedan, im mean jaw dropping beutiful when you see it on the road. Its got great lines, perfect size, aggresive yet elegant. Its one of the best looking sedans made IMO. And im just talking the regular non V version. The V version is SICK also, very very good looking. Even better then the regular version. But there is something that strikes me weird about a performance driven caddilac, for some reason it just doesnt agree with me. So yeah, M5 all the way. Ive always loved Bimmers so yeah M5 over the new V. BUT i dont know if id take a 5 series over the CTS, it would be close. It would come down to what drove better, and that would prolly be the "Ultimate Driving Machine".
Both great cars. Finally America makes something decent.

I dont know the M5 has killer lines and is hard to top on looks alone. I love how its agressive yet subtle at the same time. The interior is basic and simple yet beautiful all at the same time. If that makes sense. Its gonna be hard to get the caddy to take my vote from the M5 even though it has had a major makeover since the days of grandma and grandpas grocery getter. Im still BMW all the way when it comes to true driving machines to bad i cant afford one. My fit takes care of me for now but someday i will have an M3 in my garage. That is after i get a garage. haha
