Since no one is posting...

Dan Heller is also one of my favourites. Very inspirational work, and his site has tons of scenic photos around the world. Markku Kivinen's work above and the photo below were some of the few photos that got me started into photography.

Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, Africa

Star Trails at 16,000 ft. in case the photo does not show.

Pictures from my Hometown Tromsø (Norway)

Here are some pictures from my hometown Tromsø (Norway). The first ones is taken NOT by me but from a profesional photographer named Ola Røe. It is just a few that I have selected that I think descripts my town verry well:
(click on image to go to photographers homepage):

I dont have many pictures of my town that are taken by me. But on this site (Naturbilder) you can find other pictures from the nature around Tromsø that are taken by me.

But here is a few examples of what I have made:

This is a picture of a river in a valley close to where I was growing up. It was a place that I visited often and it is just a few km from our house.

This is a picture from just a week ago. I was on a small hiking trip in the mountains close to Tromsø. Here you see Tromsø from above. (The white on the left side of the picture is snow).

And here is a picture taken only a week ago on a small hiking trip on top of a small island (Hillesøy) about 50km from my town. It is just a marvellous place.

And the last picture is to get the contrast of the winter pictures at top to show you all that Tromsø also have summer The picture is taken on Hillesøy just a few hundred meters from the picture above this.
