I think Redline will be disappointing. rottentomatoes.com gave it %0, because of the terrible acting. Yes the cars are nice, but I'll just Netflix it when it comes on DVD.This is just an overhyped Fast and the Furious. They should make a "2 Small Still Furious" with micro racing cars in a time-attack race.

I went into Tokyo Drift expecting it's going to be pretty horrible, and it ended up being ok since I didn't really expect much.
Redline, well, I went in with the same expectation, and ended up swearing my head off for wasting my evening. Absolutely terrible. I mean, it's pretty much a fun project by a real estate mogul with no movie industry experience. Even the "racing" scenes were so lame. I think the chase scene in Back to the Future was more exciting than the ones in this movie! It's not even worth it for the cars, since you see better and more exciting scenes out of these cars on any Top Gear or Option Video segments.
Sure, the trailers looked exciting enough, and I looked for a GVRD theatre that opted-in for the limited release (probably limited 'cause no one wanted to show it). It's not even worth renting IMO.
Yoda, if you really want to see it still, let me know. But don't tell me I didn't warn you.
