I got most of the PM back, may be we planning to late or something ......most of the people cannot come the 1st meet. That is sad!!!

Are you referring to the time of the meet for the day? You can always change the time to earlier.

But if you're talking about the day, 6/28th...I doubt our announcement was late. This thread had been viewed ALOT (and have been posted on other forums) and am certain most of the views come from ppl not registered with the forum. I'm sure ppl are aware of the meet even though none were posted. Alot of other club meets are announced with just under 2 weeks to a couple of days notice. We have to keep in mind that despite the bad weather we've been having, it is still summer! And most ppl have plans for how they want to spend their summer, already set in the spring.
I believe the list compiled by hkjazz is a good # already.


Side note:

The other side of our goal is to create this "awareness" for local NYC Fit owners. Letting them know there is an organized, NY Fit club for these owners is the first step in establishing a successful club. Keeping them informed, educated about the Fit (and meets) would be every member's contribution. We'd prefer ppl (Fitfreaks) come to our meets because it can be interpretted as rewards to us, contributors! It also keeps things interesting, especially seeing new faces at every meet.
