Jersey in da house!!!
Hey, been meaning to create a profile here.
I have a SSM 09 Fit, and I drive it all over northern and Central Jersey.
I would be interested in being a part of a group with other fit owners so we can share DIY, help each other out, and basically represent both NJ and Fit-er's
so whatsup?

ahh finally lol .. ive been waiting for some 1 from jersey that would be able to represent .. and u have a 09 ssm like me (very cool) is it auto or manual? do u have any pics? i drive mine all over NJ aswell and i would like to start having Meets/Cruise's with NJ fit owners and we can discuss as u stated above DIY. and modding our cars.. there was a group called fit-4-war but i dnt think they are around anymore so i think its time we move on and rebuild a nice group of NJ fit owners

Thanks
Yeah, I'm still new to this kinda site so I'm not sure how to insert photos into the body of my message or how to cover the license plate.
Our cars are pretty similar though.
I have the Honda nose mask that I alternate but since I drive so much I pretty much leave on except when washing. NJ being the way it is I couldnt tint out all windows but have done the rear three.
Accord Horn mod, KN drop in filter, may do a full cold air intake but I had someproblems with them in the past as far as long term reliability. Home depot gutter guard mod....messed around with yellowfog bulbs but they blew out in a month. Considering HID retrofit complete kit but would like to find some reputable shops in NJ first. I'm too much of a punk to take off the bumper to install them myself.
After the retrofits I was considering lowering the car, though I really like the rims and feel the car is pretty low already...
I drive 500 miles a week so any mods I do have to be practical....I was considering finding the widest wheel these stock rims can support cuz I feel they just arent wide enough.

oh btw
Nice ride....How do you like the rain guards....I've been looking at Bernardi parts and they seem nice...were they easy to install, do they work well, do they stick out far from the overall width of the car?

To post pics its best to go to a image hosting site like tinypic.com for example .. upload the pic and then take the image code and past it here
I was thinking of getting a k&n drop filter but I wanted to save up for my suspension then worry about the motor..
As for the retrofit headlights I feel the same way .. kinda nervouse to mess with the bumpers and stuff but if ur looking for a shop wired electronics in linden is very familiar with the honda fits they have a turbo gd3 and recently got a 09 ...
I love the rain guards u can let fresh air in while its raining and rain dosent get in .. besides they look swsome and don't cost too much I got mine from college hills honda ( collegehillshonda.com) they are pretty flush to the body and actuall barley stick out .. installing them was a pretty easy the hardest part is knowing where the clips go.. but other that its pretty easy I would be willing to help you if u deside to get them..

Accessory stores in NJ
Hey thanks for the info,
BTW just did the bumper diffuser paint job diy and it came out nice, gotta get some pics up here soon.
I also ran into another fit on 22 with the mugen body kit...man it looked good
But I was hoping you knew of some shops where I can look at some LED's to replace the fogs, turning signals, hazards, etc.
the last fogs I ordered from amazon lasted 1 month before I had to replace them.
Also is wired on rt 22? there is shop on 22 I pass that I've been meaning to check out. Thanks

Sweet I painted mine like a week ago.. it really makes the rear bumper more aggresive looking lol .
Wired is on rt 1&9 south in linden and I believe zeta is located on 22 .. but I'm not sure
I brought my yellow fog light bulbs from them and they have been very good for about 2 months no sign of them blowing out..

Yea this will be the 4th new Honda I've purchased. .so I know the tricks they try. I know I'll end up with it, just don't know how many days of back and forth wheeling and dealing will happen..hopefully I'll be rockin it tonight!
