2010 Wicked Hard Parkin' Meets

Started about 3 years ago by my home forum of Hondasofnewnengland, the meets have gotten larger and larger each year. Each meet is weather permitting, and open to anyone. Mostly Hondas, but we occasionally get Subies and other cars. So tell your friends. Have them tell their friends.

We will not permit racing, burnouts or any other dumbass moves. The location is right near a State police barracks. They have yet to give us any trouble after two years at this location, but we don't want it to start.

We usually meet up for 3-4 hours and then go and get something to eat as a group and then reconvene somewhere close for the rest of the night.

Heres the details...

Solidly planned. As long as the weather cooperates. This year is shaping up to be a good turnout.

The weather is a big factor, but at its best, usually between 40-50 cars. A lot of people kind of show up, hang for a bit and leave. Usually the core group of about 25 or so of us move onto grab something to eat around 8ish and meet up elsewhere. People have came from Springfield, north of Boston, and RI/CT for the meet. Since its in a central location its a prime spot.

Sounds like a good time. I will keep checking the schedule and see if I can make it there some time. Hard to do with a 3 year old and a 1 year old, but I'll see what I can manage.

No problem, just make it when you can. Remember to tell your friends too - all cars are welcome, not just Hondas.

First meet of the season less than 2 weeks away. Can't expect to see everyone with their summer gear on - but hope to see people make it anyway.

I'm gonna be more than down to get over to one of these meets, but could you elaborate a little more on the Park/Ride thing? I used to to be from that EXACT area and other than Old Sturbridge Village, there is nothing that would facilitate a Park/Ride park sign on the Pike. No offense to you dude, but already having my wheels stolen out from underneath my baby, I just wanna make sure this is legit. Again, if you are for real, please do not take offense from this post, cuz I will be there for at least two meets without question, but the maps seem a little skeevy, kinda like lining up cattle for a slaughter........

Please disregard the previous statement, I am now the big doucher on what should be normally an awesome experience for the rest of the N.E. Fit Family, I hereby retract my previous statement, and shall be willing to make any meet that I possibly can. I apologize, but having anything stolen makes you extremely wary, Honda owners especially, count me in as the little weenie that could......

Don't worry man, most of the people from our area are very picky about who comes to our meets and being theft victims ourselves we do not tolerate sketchy characters at our meet. You are welcomed to show up to any of them. Incase it wasn't mentioned before the meet is literally 100 feet from a State Police barrack, which eliminates a good deal of riff raff in its own right.

That said, weather friday looks great with temps in the mid 60's, no rain and it will be lighter out later in the day due to daylight savings. Hope to see some people there.

Just as an update. Looks like the turnout is going to be great. Weather is forcasted to still be in the high 50's by start time.

If anyone needs to find anything before stopping by, there are 5-6 fast food places within 1/8th of a mile from the meet location. All restaurants are located further down Rt20 (yellow line in diagram), so if you get off the Mass Pike, take the left towards the park and ride - continue past the park and ride and take the next left at the set of lights. About 500 feet past that is a McDonalds, a Sunoco, a BP, Wendys, Papa Ginos and a local pizza shop.

This meet is run by a Honda forum, but any enthusiast is welcome so long as they are mature and do not cause trouble. Bring your friends!
