ROGUE CARBON, items for sale
This thread is to show parts that are currently for sale and ready to ship, and will at times indicate items that are being prepared for offering.
The items shown here will typically be ones that were made for someone but the purchase was not completed, extras of an item, or seconds that didn't quite meet expected quality.
Please feel free to ask questions, and PM your interest in a particular part.
Thanks.
These first two parts were made for a customer that wasn't able to follow through with the purchase. The first is an instrument visor overlaid in red carbon/kevlar SOLD.
This second part is a steering column cover (upper) overlaid in red carbon/kevlar and is selling for $60.00 plus the return of your OEM core, or $80.00 outright.
The following cowl scoops were made as extras.
Carbon Basalt, SOLD
Texalium, Silver (aluminumized fiberglass), SOLD
Black, painted carbon SOLD, but will be posting more soon.
The following scoop is being sold as a second because I wasn't pleased with how the finish came out, though it is still a very nice looking part.
1x1, plain weave carbon, SOLD
I'll try to keep adding things as they become available.
Here are some threads for discussion and pics of some of the products available:
Carbon Cowl Scoop: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gaug...terest-16.html
Instrument Visor / Steering Column Cover: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gaug...-interest.html

Carbon Fog Light Housings: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gaug...gine-duct.html
Carbon Vents/Duct (fog light area): https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gaug...gine-duct.html
And a new product I'm currently hoping to develope:

This is one of my favorite materials, it is very close to 2x2 carbon fiber however the fibers in one direction are basalt instead of carbon. The basalt takes on a more of a brown (what I would call root beer) color in the sun which makes it stand out a little more than straight carbon. If you choose to try it, I'll exchange it for a 2x2 carbon if you're not happy, if you just take care of shipping back to me.

Sorry for a dump question!
But how does it look when installed on to the car?
Thanks!

This is the one I told you about in PM.
The vac. bag didn't get sealed good enough when I was making it so there are some tiny air bubbles under the surface and the weave is off a little. There will almost always be some bubbles and pulled weave, this just didn't come out as good as I like, though it looks good from a couple feet away.
I did get in the new 1x1 material and have started a few new ones.

I should have added some links to other threads in my original post, but here are a couple places to see discussions of the products and photos of them installed.
Cowl scoop: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gaug...terest-16.html
Instrument visor: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gaug...-interest.html
I hope that helps.

I'll take it! PM me with purchasing details please.
ETA - looks like grtpumpkin has dibs on it. My bad. Still interested in it though if his deal falls thru or if there are more immediately available.

I have a 2x2 twill carbon scoop available for $95.00.
I also still have the carbon basalt part shown above and will be trying to post some more parts as soon as I finish up the last few orders.

Just received my blue/carbon fiber scoop in the mail and I must say, it looks amazing! I couldn't be happier with the results. Here is a few quick pics I took. Sorry about the dirty Fit, I just got back from vacation.
As you can see, the fitment is great. I cant wait to hit the open road with this thing!

Were you on YarisWorld by chance? I remember someone named Rogue Yaris making custom CF parts for us once upon a time.

Yes that's me, I still do some Yaris parts from time to time and did a bunch for Garm - Caliyaris. Nothing really took off with the Yaris owners so I haven't pursued it too much lately.

LOL. Yeah, I think Garm was your biggest customer. Not much activity is going on in YW in terms of parts. I think people are focusing on getting a viable turbo kit going. hahaha. Well, nice seeing ya again.
