What are others paying for the 8 year/100k mile factory extended warranty. I initially got a price of $1995. Eventually got down to $1495.

I decided against it as I'm not sure if I will own this car for more than the 5 year powertrain warranty that it comes with.

See how it pays to shop around and be armed with printouts from these guys? Wow, you got quoted a price even gougier than the one I griped about on the other thread!

I do suggest that you actually call these vendors and make sure that price is correct for your location. Some states may have different prices or may not allow you to purchase coverage out of state.

I got a 6yr, 80,000 mile extended warranty on my fit for about $250, my total was $17,750 on the car, is 16,950 sticker + options was about 17,500. Sure, I paid a little above sticker, but I got the warranty on top.
