Two thumbs up to RB Honda in Bloomington, MN.

I contacted them last fall and already knew I wanted a Fit. They had a 2 month waiting list but when they knew I was serious, somehow came up with a car that was the model and color I wanted...and would be arriving in a few weeks. This gave me just enough time to sell my previous auto.
Price pd was sticker for a Fit Sport MT in 07. No negotiating was really possible since most dealers in the area had and have a list of eager buyers. Same is true of any other high MPG cars these days (like the HCH or Prius). There is still a short supply there.
As far as buying experience, they called me when it came in, I went in and took it for a test drive. I was supposed to give a fully refundable $200 deposit initially, and I did give them a credit card number but the salesman was cool and didn't even run it. The test drive was to my house to get my checkbook. That's how much I loved this thing from the moment I got in.
I went back to the dealer and did the paperwork. Even with a small Honda Finance loan, I was in and out in about an hour and a half. They detailed it the minute it arrived so it was set to go. I came back a few days later for some extras to be installed (ie the cargo cover, and floor mats). The only negative I can identify is that the finance person I had to meet with was rather pushy about their service and warranty plans and rust type coverage packages. I passed on every one of those and they clearly did not like that one bit. I know that's where they make a lot of profit and I didn't give a hoot. Besides that one guy's attitude and sales pitch, the experience was great. Night and day wonderful compared to a prev. experience with a local VW dealer. I'd definitely recommend buying from them (and their service dept too).
