Thumbs up Autopark Honda, Cary NC USA

I had a very good experience at Autopark Honda. Of course they didn't give me a big discount, but that was expected since demand for a Fit seems to significantly exceed supply. Only two Fits on the lot, one already sold. If you live in this area and are interested in a Honda call Ed LaVoie at Autopark. He was very straightforward, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and not at all pushy. He made a few followup calls and emailed, but I felt no pressure at all. I test drove a Fit and a Civic 2dr and decided that I wanted a Fit a few weeks later. The one I wanted, silver storm sport MT, was on order for late January. Autopark underpromised and overdelivered. I picked up up my new Fit on Jan 8th. Finance guy tried to sell me several extended warranty plans, but when I said "No thanks, I brought a Honda so I wouldn't need those" he said "that's fine" and moved on to the title paperwork. Parts department express shipped floor mats and cargo mat the next day.

Everyone at Autopark Honda was very friendly, including other sales staff, parts guys, car detail crew, receptionist, etc. It should be easy to sell great cars. There's no need for a Honda dealer to resort to Kurt Russell, "Used Cars" tactics.

And most of all I love my new Fit!

yea...i've been there. they're okay but i managed to get a better deal at flow honda in winston-salem, and i didn't have to wait for my bbp fit sport mt. i got floor mats and wheel locks, and i got a better price than autopark would offer, but if i got it from autopark i would have to wait till feb, so i guess that's the trade off. it was either get the car now, with 100 mi on it, floor mats, and wheel locks, or get the car later for more and nothing on it.

they weren't pushy that's true, but they weren't really attentive to you either.

Actually I find all Honda dealers to be arrogant. They have an easy time selling there cars, especially the SI and the Fit.
