Awesome place to shop. This is my second Honda from them. Used to own an Element. Love the Fit much more. See Karen in Internet sales... she is truely the best sales person I've dealt with in my life.

ep3royalty: I paid $17,500.00 for a sport auto trans that also had a chrome exhaust pipe, rear cargo mat and FIT floor mats added.
damnu: There is a $1000.00 dealer mark up on all Fits as far as I found - apparently in high demand. However if you go through the Internet department ( I suggest Karen ) they'll work with you. I got it reduced. I think it also depends on how many they have in stock and have coming in. I may have had good timing and as I said I have a relationship there already.
frogpond1: The E was awesome, all wheel drive, crazy seat configs, wide open space but it never felt like a comfy car. It has a somewhat other worldly vehicle vibe about it. It's basically a big van and felt as such to me. I got the E because I'm always carrying things here and there and have two large dogs so need the room. The Fit accomplishes everything the E did but has a nice comfy and sporty feel. The Fit has a high head room I guess like that Nissan car you see so many ads for. The Fit is in no way a speedy car. I used to drive a C320 Sport and that was fast. But there is enough power for me to get to where I need to go quickly and safely - 8 air bags, Excellent rollover safety, side, front and rear collision safety. The Fit obviously isn't as big as the E but I'm finding it plenty big enough.
I hope this helps you all. Good luck.

When I test drove the Fit I could tell it had pep but in no way a sports car. Like you, I love my E but the Fit could save us money both in monthly payments and in gas. I do like how the Fit drives quite a bit. In fact I went in with very low expectations and came out pleasantly surprised.

Fit is fun
Frog ... I agree totally. I was reading up on new cars and everywhere they were talking about the Fit and how great it was all around. Honestly though I went in to Honda to buy a Ridgeline... I saw the Fit sitting there and had to drive it. After considering both I realized what an incredible deal and incredible smart move getting the Fit would be so I went for it.
