Anyone from Oahu? I live in Waipahu/Kunia! I saw one Silver fit in Mililani a few weeks ago... post um!

do you work @ King Autocenter? My brother-in-law and his gf work there and said someone there bought a fit when they 1st came out.. Just wondering. Funny, I HARDLY see any here on Oahu and when we went to Kauai this past weekend, I saw a brand-new white one with paper-plates and another white one at the mall...

 

Nope.. not me.

I did buy from the first few that did hit Kauai, though... love the car and have been waiting for Honda to make this car for years.

Fits not selling well on Oahu??? Perhaps because they want too much for the cars??? When I was shopping, the cheapest was $1000 over MSRP.

 

Cheapest I found here was $2k over MSRP @ Windward Honda... Tony and Pflueger wanted MORE!!! @#$%^&*

Nope... Have a Storm Silver Metallic Base model, but I traded in the tires for one size larger (1856514) Goodyear Comfortreads. Very quiet now and much more comfortable. I love this car!

although i don't own a fit yet, i will be purchasing one shortly

 

I shopped for a Fit in July and found some dealers were charging $3000+ over MSRP (Tony and Pfleuger). Most (all) fits were sold through Costco buying program at Honda Windward.

Waits were about 3 to 6 months depending on color and $500 deposit was expected. Most dealers said they get 3 to 5 Fits a month and almost none were the standard Fit, mostly auto transmission Sports.

I was turned off by all this and ended up buying a 2006 Civic EX 4 door sedan for my wife with auto transmission. It works and there was only about a week or two wait.

My daughter is in college on the Mainland and needed a car to get around in Indiana so I shopped around via the internet, via Costco's buying program, etc and found the best I could do is pick one up for MSRP.

Next monday she takes delivery of a Orange metallic Sport with auto transmission. She's Jazzed.

 

Just today I saw a FIT in silver two blocks from my home in Mililani Mauka.
License plate was PDP---.

When he comes home I'm going to go hunting for the owner later today.
It looked stock.

I've also seen a white FIT in Mauka a month ago.

You can't always tell if these are just visiting or not.

 

there's a silver fit that works at that elem. school in mililani near mililani shopping center. i see it every morning parked on the side by the school. it's a sport model.

 

I just got 99 Si wheels installed w/ some Dunlop Direzza's... Hopefully Im the only one on oahu with that set up... Call it selfish, but I love not seeing alot of Fit's around vs cars like Civic's and Accords...

Well enjoy your uniqueness a bit longer. It may not take as long as we think to see more and more FITs cruising around.

Some owners in San Francisco report seeing up to 8 FITs a day.
