my visits to honda

so it seems that everytime i go to pfluger honda they always try to get out of warrenty with me. last time was my hatch with bad paint now its rust forming on my roof. i had to talk to the guy and after a while he seem scared of me. i told them straight up i dont drive there for nothing i got the warrenty for a reason so dont F with me.haha but yea rust is forming on my roof. and i dont park under things where stuff falls on it. so pretty errkked by it. i think next time i'll just drive to tony cause they dont seem to give anyone problems.

i dont trust dealerships, there might be one or two good guys you can find but overall they all stink, you cant help it. i would go to a third party body shop or mechanic or whatever or do it yourself kind.

yeah teh paint is shitty, you dont have one of those electronics that prevent rust from your car?

better take it to the bodyshop before it gets outta control.

Does your car have the anti-rusting thingy? Because we live in hawaii and salt is a big problem here...

95% of the time its because of rock chips on the roof, honda WILL NOT warranty it, and they can tell, unless youre very lucky. my friends fit has rust by the hatch on the roof rail at the body seam, not due to rock chips, was a manufacturing fault, they warrantied that though. NEVER talk to the sales dept about any warranty, theyll only tell you what you wanna hear, service dept and sales are 2 totally different things. you can have them call you when the honda rep comes and he can inspect your car if you want.. read your warranty book, they dont cover ALL rust.. my car is an 07 and i park it outside everyday, work and home, i dont have these issues, i have rock chips too but i touch them up right away

if you dont like how pflueger handles things, youre free to go to any honda dealer in the nation, your warranty is good there too

best solution, pay for a QUALITY paintjob, one that won't chip and rust so easily

well it's not like he repainted the car and it started to rust, it's the stock paint that's doing it, so I'm not too sure what you ment by that.

yeah we are talking about factory warranties, not dropping thousands of dollars to paint a new car just because the factory paint sucks.
