What have you learn from the past 10+ Snowy days?
Here's what I have learn:
1) The fit is not designed for winter driving
2) Get winter tires, thought your fit may not be good for winter driving, its worth getting just cos All season = EPIC FAIL
3) Bring shovel, never know when you need it... (I use my shovel over 10+ today just to get me out of parking areas)
Just a thought, if I charge $2 to push every car out of the snow today, I think I can make 50 bucks =\. Yes, Vancouverians DO NOT know how to drive in the snow - heck 99% of us cant even drive on a dry day =)

if your going to drive on the snow, dont go in ditches >.< i was pulling out of my driveway and turned too close to the corner and went into the grass part, ugh so much trouble, not enough traction on the right tire which is on the regular part, and too much weight on the ditched tire, i was basicly polishing the snow heh basicly, keep each side on the same level, you can go up n down hills, just dont tilt >.< ugh how i fix it? shoved a 8'x8" board in front the tires

I'm glad I am not the only one with trouble in the snow. Combination of all-season tires and open differential means I can't even get out of my garage.
This car needs a limited-slip differential and snow tires.

Limited slip differential > CHECK!
Snow tires(michelin X-ice) > CHECK!
No problem at all on most of the side streets. Just had to dig my car out when I'm off from work today coz heavy trailers & plow left a mess around the area where me & my workmates park but it's ok.

I was feeling really good about the car's handling over the last week in the (lighter) snow, ...and then today happened. I couldn't even get out of my side street. Backed out of the drive way, started up the street and literally started free wheeling instantly.
I was waiting for those Dunlop all seasons to catch up with me.

They're not as bad as the morons in their SUVs that think they're invincible in this weather.
