Calgary & Alberta Fit Owners?

I ran mine with the EGR unbolted from the block, the hole in the block plugged with a plate, and the EGR bolted with a bracket above the header behind the intake manifold (so you can't see it) open to the air. Works fine and no MIL and if you play with them awhile to find the right FIT the stock wires have enough length you don't even have to add more wire to the stock ones. If you want to try it just clear your MIL then plug the EGR back into the original wires and just let it hang loose behind the intake and see if it works for you.
Any chance you can help me do this? ^^^^^

It would help if we knew what Claymore was talking about
Is this something about your new intake manifold?
btw did Ben ever figure out what was up with that?

lol, yeah some background might help here
The responce I got from Ben was
I was trying to ask Leo from WR, but no repsonce yet. Claymore offered that as a solution.... of course we are way into territory I don't understand now

I have asked my mechanic about your CEL. He said your WeaponR intake manifold does not come with the EGR routing back to the manifold so that caused the engine check to go on. The EGR circulation has been blocked to you have to ask WeaponR to see if they have a way to bypass the EGR valve."

See I leave for an hour and now we're talking about CEL's being laser beams, well done guys:P
Nick what is happening right now is one of your sensors that normally would screw onto the intake manifold and get a reading from it is just hanging there in your engine bay. It might even be causing that vibration for you if it's touching other stuff.
The only 2 solutions are either it somehow gets reconnected or it gets bypassed by the ecu. Of course to bypass it at the ecu you would need some type of engine management software that could communicate with the ecu.
I'm sure Jon can advise you as to what can be done if anything to fix this.
All these discussions about lasers brings me back to NHL 2008 and that again reminds me that the Flames are no more

I posted a Banana Dance as a final tribute to the Flames in the NHL thread
Hmmm, Yeah you guys should have a look. Whenever the Piaa foggies come in I will stop by to pick them up.
I do have that E-manage hooked in, no idea if there is a way to kill the CEL using that.

They tuned it on the fly using an exhuast sniffer, then made some adjustments for the altitude here. It should be dialed in right now.
I was thinking about dyno tuning, but I wouldn't even know where to start out here.

I think you just plug into the E-manage via USB with a laptop and if you have the software it makes it pretty simple to have a look at the data.
I know very little about this magical device that makes my car go fast
Hmmm, now that I think about it I don't believe I got a software CD from AJR...

Yeah Nick we need to have a look at the emanage and see what it can do and where it's sitting right now to make sure all is good.
Maybe some dyno tuning in town could help it run even better. How much time did they spend "tuning it"?

Suspension? What suspension??
Sure thing, send me an e-mail tomorrow at work and we can figure out where to meet up.
I wasn't paying that much attention to the time (Mostly because Dom was licking Matts fit, lol). But it seemed like they had it out for quite a while. if I had to guess at least 20 or 30 mins, but could have been more.
I wouldn't be against taking it in for a dyno tune, not sure how much something like that would cost.
