GPS Navigation Advice?
Hi,
I am in need of a GPS navigation system for my work. Anyone now using one, can you give a short review of your experience? I will be using it in Calgary mostly, looking for a portable system for use in the Fit. With the way this virus of a city is spreading I am needing the ability to add new map software on a regular basis, yearly would be fine.
Cheers, KK

My brother looked into it before he got his he has a cheaper tom tom. He said the only difference between brands and prices is what kind of noises you can program it to do when it tells you to turn how big the screen is and weather or not the screen is in color. All of the tom tom's despite the price come with the same maps and all have free map updates for a year. He bought the cheapest one at the time which was $150 usd. Works fine

I have a Garmin Nuvi 360. It's flat so it's portable for walking, has a 5+ hour battery for walking. It has a Bluetooth car kit built in (get a Nuvi 350 if this is not needed and save $). The long life battery is what sold me over similar units from Tom Tom and Magellan. Garmin has introduced the Nuvi 200 series since I got mine, so these might be worth checking out. The best price I could find was at Comparemaster.com - GPS Devices .
