Looking for full specs here. How much RAM? How big's the hard drive? Does it come with accessories/battery/charger/manuals/etc? How about AppleCare? Those options make many more than 3 versions of the laptop.

OK, the link goes to a configuration menu. Are you saying it's the low-end of the 15" with no customizations?

The girlfriend needs a new computer.

I'll buy it in a month, if you'll use escrow.com

It's an escrow service.
Escrow - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Basically, they only release the money once the buyer gets what they bought. It's a good practice for buying things online over $500. It doesn't do anything except insure that both parties don't get screwed.

Thanks, somehow missed that post. Going to see if I have the finances for this one. Never heard of paypay, do you take PayPal?

Nah, I think he's heard of paypal, he just hasn't heard of using an escrow.

If the OP won't use a legitimate escrow service, I won't buy it, I'm not going to put $1100 out on the line like that, without any promise that the notebook even exists.
Pppppppppowerbook.....
