Siphon Magazine
#61
As far as subscriptions, I haven't heard anything yet. I hope they do offer it as I feel that Siphon Magazine addresses a growing niche of the Import market.

congrats! i just saw your car in the magazine at target earlier today. is it just me or does it seem like their photographer doesn't take such great shots?
on another note, has anybody seen (in person) that white topfuel fit from Cerritos Norm Reeves Honda that's also in the same issue of siphon? i saw it in their showroom and some of the work looks kind of, how to say it...bootleg? the intercooler was crooked with the front bumper opening. and the bumper was pressed and folded up on the intercooler. you can actually see it in one of the pictures on this issue of siphon. It's an awesome car i admit, but the craftsmanship isn't too precise in my opinion.

"Having bought the car in August of 2006, Top Fuel rushed to piece together a turbo kit that appeared somewhat decent in the three months before Las Vegas' annual SEMA show."
I too noticed in some of the photos that it was a "little rough around the edges" in some aspects. I'd say that they're probably going to, if not already, have tweaked it to smoothen up those rough edges. I haven't obviously had any first hand experience with this car other then the magazine photos but I'd say for a one off kit like that, it's pretty clean. I'm sure it's a mix of USDM and JDM parts making up that body now, so things are bound to be off.
Great car overall though. Besides... "It's worth noting that while the Fit is a show car now, Top Fuel USA intends to compete it in time attacks on this side of the ocean."
With the exception of the Mugen and Spoon Fits, there aren't many Fits out there that are real contenders in this category. So, I'm sure aesthetic perfection isn't at the top of the Top Fuel priority list. As long as it works, and works well!

Siphon
Issue Five has be out for two weeks or so. The pull date ( when its removed from the rack is 4 Mar 08) so don't bother looking for issue six for a while. The pull dates for # 4 was 27 Nov and # 3 was 11 Sep 07. Issue 5 seemed to have lots of bells and whistle things to buy but not much real info.
