ATTN: Fit Freak - Help out the soldiers of the 115th
Here is the situation. My father is a Command Sergeant Major in the US army, with the 1st Cav. Division 1st Brigade 115th BSB (Muleskinners).
They left Thursday for Iraq. Wednesday we found out that AUSA, who was suppose to find sponsor to send care packages to soldiers never did.
What I am doing is trying to fill this gap. What we need are companies willing to send care packages to soldiers in Iraq.
I am not asking anyone to support the war or the president. I am asking your help supporting the soldiers that will be spending the holidays in a Red (combat) zone away from their families.
If you are interested PM me or email me at Ricepuddin@gmail.com
I appreciate your time in reading this.
I will get you into direct contact with the Rear detachment S1 or rear detachment CSM.
Help out the soldiers of the 115th
thank you for your time

If Any individuals would like to help out that can also be arranged.
Typical a care package would have:
-foods that wont spoil during the mailing; i.e candy, jerky, cookies, brownies
-Entertainment: magazines, puzzle books, dvd's, books.
Anything else you may want to send (just think of what you would want if it was you). Soldiers will trade what ever they don't want so don't worry to much about that.
Personal hygiene products are popular to send however a waste because soldiers tend to bring in balk.
and anything else you would like to send.
Thank you all,
Nate
