Exclamation vehicle all of a sudden goes into gear but does not move

hi guys i recently serviced my honda fit 2007 model and this morning the vehicle refused to move. I put it into gear and gave gas nothing happened. all he gears can be selected but the car simply wont move. I recently had my cv joint changed as well as the front wheel bearings could this have any impact on what i experienced this morning. The vehicle worked fine last night and night before but this morning i got this shock and i had the transmission changed early last year as well. so what could be the cause of this?????? Help please

yes it does rev when i hit the gas pedal. It responds to me pressing the gas pedal but still does not move. It selects reverse i can hear the reverse sound and everything but still does not move. Am actually stuck in the middle of the road about to put it in neutral and push it to the side walk. What do you think may have triggered this sudden "thing"

Speedo still moves = Axle issue:
Possible broken axle, axle popped out of the transmission, or broken CV joint.
You're gonna have to get under there to see what came apart.

Solved?

Did the OP ever find the problem? My gf's '08 encountered the exact same problem while pulling away from an intersection today.

Definitely sounds like a broken axle. Easy to check yourself.
