Fit Curb Wt. vs. Civic Curb Wt.

I was surprised to learn that the '16 Fit weighs 2513 while the '16 Civic weighs only 2379.

I'm all about power-to-weight, so this interests me. If I can get 158 hp from the 2.0 liter engine, it might be time for me to start thinking about the Civic.

Your thoughts, fellow 'Freaks?

No Replies? Nobody cares that our Fits are lugging around 134 lbs. more than a base Civic? Hmm.

Mister coffee is correct, the lx coupe in 6MT is listed on the honda site as 2379 for the curb weight.

Based on this information, the Civic LX outweighs the Fit LX.

I'm also perplexed by 158 bhp from 2.0 litres being impressive or anything other than rather poor.

All depends on how much car you have to move with that 158 hp.

Also, I'd rather have an NA 2.0 liter than an FI 1.5 liter.

Also, we're talkin' about a bottom of the line econo-car. Dude, have a heart.
