Tail Of The Dragon
#41
The first time I drove the Dragon with my track tuned Integra a few years back, I pulled over at the end and there were a bunch of bikes pulled off the road. I was sick from the motion of being thrown back and forth so hard for so long. I got out of the car and puked. The guys on bikes were laughing saying, "Damn man, never saw a driver puke before!"
Awsome experience, other then the puking... I would like to try it in the Fit also.

"Tail of the dragon" looks nice and with a lots of curves.
Over here in Norway we have the nice "Trollstigen" (the troll ladder).
Se image below:
I have not been there with my Jazz yet (just got it 2.Feb '07) and Trollstigen is closed until mai/june when the weather is good enoug to safely drive up the hill.
There are 11 turns from the bottom to "Trollstigen Fjellstue" is. Highest point of the road is 850 meter above sea level.
I have been there one time, driving up to Trollstigen Fjellstue and then back down again. Driving down was the worst part...

I actually saw this thread early last month and after looking up the dragon, decided to go on a week long camping trip at Elkmont (a campsite in the smokies). Deffinetly was an amazing time and i'll see if i can find the pictures i have from the dragon. The dam at the one end was deffinetly something to see. As was the lake towards the beginning.
