One Jazz in France

I just got back from France (10 days bicycling in Provence and four days visiting Paris). I thought I would see Jazz's all over the place, WRONG. After the first day I just started looking for Hondas. I finally saw one Jazz (with French Plates) in Paris, this was also the only Honda (car) I saw on the whole trip.

I know years ago that France and Japan had some strange import rules between each other for cars. Even tho in those days French cars were popular in Japan, they (French) did not allow the importation of many Japanese ones, and the taxes on such cars was VERY high. Not sure if the same applies today.

I saw plenty of Toyotas, Mitsubishis, and Nissans (owned by Renault) in France.
