I wonder any project or teams will be exhibiting at SEMA ?

 

Where is it going to be and when ?

 

its at the las vegas convention center oct 30- nov ?

 

That's 2100 miles each way for me these days. I'll have to think about that. And I know exactly where that is since I lived in Las Vegas for 29 years.

SEMA is Speciality Equipment Manafactuers Association. It was started years ago and originally called Speed Equip Mfg's Ass'n. The people who started it made speed parts for hot rods, drag racing, etc etc, and some of them started their businesses in the late 1940's, when drag racing first got started. They realized that the word "speed" had a negative connotation to it, so they changed it to Speciality. Started off as a small group and grew to what it is today. Thay have had a lot of success in fighting legislation that would affect how you modify your car. The SEMA Show also now is a good place to introduce new cars & products, as it gets a lot of press coverage. I wish it was open to the public!
