Honda Care extended warranty after accident
So my brother got my Honda Fit into an accident last Friday, and it needs to be repaired.
It's currently at a repair shop close to my work, and they're working on getting an estimate, but I just realized -- what happens to the extended warranty after an accident? Does anyone know? Is it completely void? Or do I need to get it repaired at a dealer or Honda-authorized body shop?
A picture of the damage for those curious:

I figured I would just call the support number myself and see what they said.
The representative I talked to told me that the service contract is still valid on the rest of the parts not damaged in the collision, and that parts and stuff replaced will have the standard warranty. The repair shop would have their own lifetime/standard warranty as well. And there is no need to go to a specific repair shop.
