2007 Fit Auto getting poor mileage (20 MPG)
Here is my calculated mileage for my last 18 fillups:
These were calculated by doing the odometer difference and the fillup amount, so they should be pretty accurate, I think.
Even though this is almost entirely city driving, I still think something's up. I think most estimates of the city MPG for the 2007 Honda fit are around 27-33 MPG, while the absolute highest I've gotten is 24 MPG, with an average of about 20.
Info:
Odometer Reading: ~180,000 km (111,847 mi)
Tire Air Pressure: ~35 PSI
Oil Changed
Engine Air Filter Changed
Gentle acceleration (never above 3000 RPM)
Any ideas what could be causing this? I read on here about flushing the fuel injectors, but it seems like a lot of people have also said that fuel injector flushing/cleaning is basically just a scam for the dealership to get more money.

Wow, that's harsh. If there's something that far wrong with the car you'd probably know it without looking at the pump numbers. Do you have a lot of lights, construction or something like that in your area to leave your car idling a lot?

What do you think I would notice if there was something wrong? Sometimes I feel like it doesn't have enough power, but then again, it's a Fit, so..

The cause of poor fuel economy could be just about anything.
To do proper diagnosis, you need to understand how major systems contribute to fuel economy.
Things that need to be checked:
EGR system performance
MAP, MAF, Intake temp/coolant temp sensors,
Coils, Valve clearance,
Catalytic and O2 sensors' functioning;
Brakes, bearing, alignment; compression, timing, fuel injectors; presence of sludge in the engine, making sure no trouble codes are pending or have been present recently.
Also your driving style needs to be checked/compared to other people/other cars.

I was going to post about poor fuel economy, but I see mine is fairly normal.
2010 Fit Sport Automatic, 112,000 miles, runs great, all maintenance done. Never had the check engine light on.
28-29 MPG around town, 32 on the highway. 26-27 in winter.
I do have to drive somewhat aggressively due to Chicago area traffic. 80 mph is normal on the expressways around here even in a 55.
Became concerned after a neighbor with a 3rd gen Fit gets mid-30's around town and our '16 Civic gets 35 in town and over 42 on the highway.
