Today might be the day!

After 18 years of driving her 1996 RAV4 (the year it was introduced), my wife may be driving away in something new tomorrow and it appears to be the CRV!

The RAV4 has been very dependable with ZERO issues and the only way it would owe us any money was if it caught fire while in the garage and burnt the house down. The car is still on the road and drivable and will be handed down to our son.

Did you end up with the CRV? The new ones are pretty nice. We were going to buy one, but ended up with a new Outback. It was close, though.

Awesome to know! I love my RAV4. She's a beast! I'm keeping her and working on getting a Fit. Good luck on her purchase.

Well, it appears my wife is being hesitant about biting the bullet on getting another car loan so she has yet to get anything.....

....And now she can't seem to pass up the .9% interest rate so we MIGHT be signing for a new CRV tomorrow. Only the Honda Gods can tell.

Don't urge her to, lol! It's a good car, but I'd think financially about this.

If the current car still runs and you have no problem then don't get a new one until you have enough money. Instead of taking loans and stressing over payments.

This has been going on for YEARS. As of now, the RAV will not pass inspection unless we buy tires all around but she doesn't want to spend another dime on the RAV and her inspection runs out at the end of this month.

And it has happened! Although she is not happy about having payments again after 13 years in the clear, tomorrow my wife picks up a 2014 CRV!

Nice! Congrats on the new CR-V. My sister-in-law has one and she loves hers. I'm sure you and your wife will get many years of enjoyment out of your new vehicle. We are still a 50/50 split Toyota/Honda family so I am jealous of your all-Honda-having Hondaness family.

That's awesome! My soon to be wife has the 2009 CR-V AWD, and I have the 2007 Fit. And, in the same colors as yours.

The new Honda is much much safer than the 96 Rav4. Well worth the few bucks a month.

I've never seen her so obsessed over a car, so needless to say she loves it! I have to say that it is a smooth running vehicle and like the Fit, it's so easy to speed! Without batting an eye, you're suddenly doing 80+mph on the highway.
