Seats, shifting & steering
Have had a 2013 Base for 3 weeks. Love the car, but the seats are giving me a problem, especially in the lower back. Am trying all kinds of settings, but don't like getting out of the car with back pain. Lots of people are having problems with that.
Also, my car is 5 M/T. Notice that when I'm shifting from one gear to another, the RPM's stay up a bit. It's sometimes hard to get a good shift. The clutch engages when the pedal is high. I've driven sticks for years, but this one is taking some time to get used to.
Car has electric steering. Don't care for that at all. Feels "numb" and you really have to pay attention to driving, or the car will go to the left or right before you realize it.
I will say the car is "peppy" and I enjoy driving it. It's my 2nd Honda.

Lots of people have had discomfort from the Fit seats. Some of them have improved their comfort by adding washers under the front seat mounting points to change the lower seat cushion angle.
The wandering unless you pay attention could be as simple as incorrect tire pressures or even alignment. i would first check the tires when they are cold or driven on for less than three miles. Use a good gauge and see if the dealer reset the pressure to a more comfortable riding pressure for the test drives. Some of them do that.
The alignment shouldnt be off but since the vehicle was not in your possession after it left the factory you cant be sure it somebody didnt bump while moving it around the lot or that it was tied down too tight with chains during transportation. That is more common than you may think and can sometimes knock the toe out of alignment.
Bring it back to the dealer if the tire pressure is normal and explain what you are experiencing. Ask to test drive another new Fit for comparison. If it is different then ask them to check the suspension and alignment under a warranty check since it is not driving like theother vehicle youmtest drove.

After sitting in several older cars this weekend as well as a CRZ I've concluded the Fits seat position is way more upright than we're used to.
It took a while for my back to get used to it. I have to sit more upright than I usually do.
