Lockable gas cap from an Element

Hi,
Getting my Fit 2013 soon. (and know head of service department)
I will be getting the 60$ element lockable gas cap.(it's from a 2006???)
- my service connection said it could cause the gas cap light to come on.
Also, I read in the warranty issues thread here, which is mostly about gas cap issues, that, well, there are alot of gas cap light issues.

Anyone ever tried this? Got problems from it? less problems from it?

Thanks.

The Stant brand of locking gas caps fit both Fits and Elements. My Stant cap has worked perfectly on my '09 Fit for the last four years with zero warning lights. The same cap also worked perfectly on my GD3 Fit for two years. Yours will work fine too, just screw it down tight after refilling the tank. Oh, and don't drive off with the cap still sitting on your roof.

Also, kudos on your great user name.

I have an Element gas cap on my '08 GD. No issues as of yet.

Something on my new roof?!?!?!
- I don't think so Tim!

As for the name, I got the gray Fit. 'Twas a Nobrainer.
- if I ever do buy a 2nd new car, I might try yellow, but would have to put the double black bars down the center of her. heheeeee

ok, there are no warning light issues, but do any of you feel that mileage is not quite up to par with what you're reading from others?
- still on my 1st tank so I don't have any experience points yet. (but health is over flowing hehe)
